AIKEN COUNTY, SC (WFXG) -

Three men have been arrested in the culmination of a long-term narcotics investigation by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

On Aug. 19, thirty-seven-year-old Coleman Tiko Duncan and fifty-year-old Mickey Leonard Johnson were arrested during a traffic stop on Anthony Drive in Bath. They were taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and MDMA.

Back in Dec. 2015, investigators arrested Adrian Antonio Drayton for trafficking crack cocaine. Complaints and other leads linked Duncan and Johnson to the distribution of illegal narcotics and on July 3, 2017, investigators searched a storage unit being used by the men. In the search, 755 grams of cocaine, $18,000 in cash and a stolen AR-15 were seized. On Aug. 20, Duncan and Johnson were charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Sheriff Michael Hunt says, “Our investigators have been working hard on this case for quite some time. Without the help of tips, leads and information from citizens in Graniteville, this outcome would not have been possible. We intend to keep sending a message to those individuals that sell illegal narcotics in our county.”
