The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning in Warrenville.
Deputies were called out to the 600 block of Augusta Road at around 6:43 a.m. When they arrived, deputies found a man next to the road suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim told deputies he was in a vehicle with three other men. He says they stopped the vehicle, pulled him out, and took his cash and cell phone. He says one of the suspects then shot him twice: one time in each leg.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspects are described as a white man and two black men in a silver four-door vehicle. The investigation is still ongoing.
